Responsibilities

• Help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter
• Work with others who have differing levels of expertise to achieve the mission of training the Navy’s next group of Combat Systems technicians
• Teach Navy candidates on the systems for defense of the ship and ships around them
• Prepare and conduct training programs, teach classes, hold seminars and discussion groups
• Design, develop, organize, and deliver training programs to train all levels of personnel
• Create teaching outlines in conformance with selected instructional methods, utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of training methods

Requirements

• Education, bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline, and/or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work/military experience
• Minimum of 8 years, prefer 10+ years of USN experience as an Aegis Fire Controlman
• Graduate of NAVY Aegis Computer Network C School
• Graduate of NAVY Aegis A school
• Specialized experience operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and testing of Aegis Computer Networks
• Possess AWS/ACNT NECs V00C/V69A, V01C/V75A, V48A, V60A, V68A
• Master Training Specialist in support of SCSTC/ATRC/TACTRAGRU is a significant plus

• Experience: 8 + years of related experience
• US Citizenship Required: Yes

Skills

• Knowledge of but not limited to - the Aegis Computer Networks to include, but not limited to Local Area Networks, Switch Blade Servers, Routers, Servers, VME Chassis Structure, Fiber Optics, and Digital Interfaces on the Aegis Baselines 7.2A, &.2B, 9.A and 9.C

Pay

The likely salary range for this position is $85,093 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
