AE - Store Team Leader (Store Manager)

As the full-time Store Team Leader, you are the CEO of your store! You are an entrepreneurial-minded business owner who takes pride in maximizing the daily operations of your store. You are passionate about developing a strong team through effective coaching and training, you are a pro at making tough, strategic decisions to drive your business, you consistently deliver operational excellence, and your store always meets AEO Brand Standards. Responsibilities

• Drive results by maximizing overall store productivity and building guest loyalty through a best-in-class guest experience.
• Create, manage, and own your store's business plan to meet KPI goals.
• Analyze reporting and daily sales trends to make real-time, innovative business decisions to achieve store financial goals.
• Recruit, hire, and retain a high-performing team, advocating for their development and encouraging internal opportunities.
• Develop store leadership through training, performance feedback, individual development plans, and annual performance reviews.
• Champion a culture of teamwork and recognition by establishing goals, holding the team accountable to brand standards, and celebrating outstanding performance.
• Ensure the store consistently maintains AEO Brand Visual Standards, including floorsets, merchandise adjustments, and replenishment.
• Manage workforce scheduling by evaluating traffic, calendars, and payroll reports to meet business needs while controlling payroll costs.
• Demonstrate integrity in compensation decisions, audit and shrink results, policy adherence, and ethical decision-making.

Requirements

• Previous experience leading functional teams in a retail management role.
• Strong multi-tasking, attention to detail, priority-setting, and time management skills.
• Ability to lead and develop teams with a general understanding of employment law.
• Effective communication and conflict management skills.
• Business acumen and ability to analyze reporting to drive sales.
• Flexible availability to work during peak guest shopping hours.
