About the role

The Merchandise Leader ensures the store adheres to AEO Brand Visual Standards through effective Floorsets, marketing, and merchandising updates. The role involves training and coaching the Floorset team, setting productivity goals, and ensuring all areas of the store are effectively executed to Floorset standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supports driving an outstanding guest experience by ensuring the store is representative of AEO Brand Standards.
  • Drives killer Floorset execution by training and coaching the Floorset team, setting clear productivity goals, and ensuring all areas of the store are effectively executed to Floorset standards - from uppers and bustforms to tables and wardrobers.
  • Ensures the store stays in tip-top shape by owning day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments, and replenishment. You have a keen eye for merchandising opportunities and are always ready to game plan with leadership and take action!
  • Supports the Merchandising Team Leader in ensuring the team understands how to maintain AEO Brand Standards through merchandising, adjustments, and replenishment so the store is always looking fresh!
  • Ensures the merchandising team's #1 priority is always the guest experience. Champions a culture of recognition and celebrates wins with the team!
  • Maintains store safety standards on the Salesfloor and in the Stockroom. Adheres to AEO policies and procedures. Ensures integrity and reduces shrink.

Requirements

  • Loves AE and Aerie products.
  • Has strong retail merchandising and visual skills and a history of retail work.
  • Has flexible availability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Has attention to detail and priority-setting and time management skills.
  • Is committed to maintaining store safety standards and reducing shrink.
  • Is committed to complying with AEO policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in retail merchandising and visual standards.
  • Ability to set clear productivity goals and ensure effective execution of Floorsets.
  • Experience in managing and training teams to maintain AEO Brand Standards.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Commitment to store safety and integrity.

Pay

Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location. Paid sick leave and AEO may provide REAL rewards at its discretion. Paid Time Off, paid sick leave, and holiday pay vary by job level and type, job location, employment classification (part-time or full-time / exempt or non-exempt), and years of service.
