AE - Merchandise Leader (Part-Time)

About the Role

As the Merchandise Leader, you are the Merchandising Team Leader's right hand in ensuring your store consistently meets AEO Brand Visual Standards. Your expertise lies in executing effective floorsets, marketing, and merchandising updates, while ensuring the store is always "guest ready" through effective replenishment. You have a keen attention to detail, a passion for visual standards, and thrive in collaborating with your team to achieve goals. Responsibilities

• Support driving an outstanding guest experience by ensuring the store consistently represents AEO Brand Standards in partnership with the Merchandising Team Leader.
• Drive exceptional floorset execution by training and coaching the team, setting clear productivity goals, and ensuring all areas of the store—from uppers and bust forms to tables and wardrobers—meet floorset standards.
• Maintain the store’s appearance by owning day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments, and replenishment, with a sharp eye for merchandising opportunities.
• Collaborate with leadership to game plan and take action on merchandising improvements.
• Support the Merchandising Team Leader in ensuring the team understands how to maintain AEO Brand Standards through merchandising, adjustments, and replenishment.
• Prioritize the guest experience and foster a culture of recognition, celebrating team wins.
• Maintain store safety standards on the sales floor and in the stockroom, commit to shrink-reducing strategies, and adhere to AEO policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Passion for AE and Aerie products.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in priority-setting and time management.
• Flexible availability, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
• Strong retail merchandising and visual skills, with prior retail experience.
