About the role

The Project Coordinator Co‑op will join Security Risk Advisors’ Advisory consulting services, specializing in Purple Teams. This dynamic, fast‑paced position offers exposure to a wide variety of toolsets, client environments, and security disciplines across multiple industries.

Essential Functions

  • Manage and update documentation, templates, and documentation repositories.
  • Coordinate internal Purple Team project meetings using Office 365 and capture meeting minutes.
  • Initiate Purple Team project kick‑off tasks using Monday Project Management platforms.
  • Communicate Purple Team project updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain internal project materials and tracking mechanisms.
  • Assist in publishing weekly and monthly project updates and managing the Purple Team program calendar.
  • Track scheduling updates.
  • Set up, provision, and perform basic administration of user accounts and access across lab and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Active Directory) for Purple Team engagements.
  • Support basic lab infrastructure tasks such as provisioning virtual machines, resetting credentials, and maintaining infrastructure and asset inventories.
  • Document infrastructure setup, configuration, and teardown procedures for engagements.
  • Escalate technical issues or access requests to senior team members and track resolution.

Requirements

  • Completion of high school education or equivalent (GED).
  • Punctuality and timely attendance for external client and internal stakeholder needs.
  • Basic understanding of IT fundamentals (operating systems, networking, or cloud concepts) gained through coursework, self‑study, certifications, or personal projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Residence in the Eastern Time Zone.
  • Previous experience managing projects or leading teams.
  • Experience with Office 365 and/or Monday Project Management Platform.
  • Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills, and organizational/time‑management abilities.
  • Pursuing or completed coursework/degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) or basic account/user administration.
  • Exposure to IT infrastructure or virtualization.

Work Environment

This role operates in a professional office environment; all co‑ops are expected to work on‑site every day. Standard office equipment is used routinely.

Physical Demands

The position is largely sedentary but requires regular talking, hearing, using hands, and frequent standing and walking. Candidates with disabilities are encouraged to apply; reasonable accommodations are available.

Schedule

Full‑time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required. Co‑ops work in‑person 4–5 days per week unless otherwise permitted by a supervisor.
