Description
We are seeking professionals excited about Community, Serve Us' innovative vision, willing to provide strategic oversight, mentorship and industry connections to further our mission. This is a volunteer, unpaid role. Our most immediate needs are in Technology and Innovation, Impact Investing and Governance and Compliance, but we are also looking for individuals with expertise in:
- Media & Storytelling
- Public Relations
- Ad Sales
- Humanitarian Impact
- Finance
- Business Development
- Nonprofit Management
- Operations
- Social Media & Digital Strategy
- Film/TV Production, Editing & Distribution
Responsibilities
Our Advisory Board members will support the development of governance and advisory frameworks for Community, Serve Us, leverage their expertise and networks to drive strategic growth, and provide hands-on guidance through committees, mentorship, and targeted advisory support as needed.
Qualifications
We seek individuals with:
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience within their respective industry
- Strong industry connections and a willingness to activate them in support of our mission
- Prior board experience, especially advising early phase nonprofits, preferred, but not required
- US-based
