Role Overview: An Advisor, Trading and Merchandising is responsible for developing and executing commodity merchandising strategies to generate value, optimize margins, and support growth within a bioindustrial business. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategies by sourcing, buying, and selling commodities, managing physical and financial positions to achieve targets.Monitor high-risk cash, futures hedges, and exposures, ensuring disciplined risk management.Analyze supply-demand trends, market dynamics, logistics, and sustainability factors to inform decision-making.Build strategic partnerships with customers, suppliers, and market participants to create value.Influence short- and long-term merchandising strategies aligned with business priorities.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute contracts and optimize physical flows.Share market insights, risk management practices, and knowledge to enhance team capability. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, typically 10+ years.Experience in commodity merchandising, risk management, and trading, preferably in vegetable oils or new technology commercialization.Leadership ability within flat organizational structures and cross-functional collaboration skills.
