About the role
This position conducts analyses and interprets program rules and policies to ensure benefit programs are administered effectively and in accordance with the organization’s reward strategy.
Responsibilities
- Assess company needs regarding employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and voluntary benefits
- Research, compare, and recommend cost-effective benefits packages and vendors
- Assist in implementing benefits programs, including employee enrollment, communication, and administration
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, such as ERISA and DOL provisions
- Conduct employee surveys and analyze workforce data to identify gaps and opportunities in benefits offerings
- Advise on funding strategies and cost management for benefits programs
- Provide ongoing support to HR teams and employees, answering questions and resolving benefits-related issues
- Reevaluate and update benefits packages regularly to maintain competitiveness and alignment with company goals
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 6 years of experience, OR
- Associate degree in a related field and 8 years of experience, OR
- 10 years of experience
Skills & Abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent attention to detail
