Responsibilities

  • Engages in consultative discussions with business owners to understand objectives, business considerations, and transition goals.
  • Contributes to personal and business exit readiness assessments by gathering, organizing, and analyzing qualitative and quantitative inputs.
  • Aids in identifying themes, action items, and decision considerations.
  • Cross-functional coordination with internal partners including commercial banking, wealth planning, trust or estate resources, and valuation specialists.
  • Supports alignment on process steps, timing, and deliverables.
  • Prepares client-ready summaries, recommendations, and materials that support informed discussion and progress.
  • Supports meetings to support clarity, follow-through, and documentation.
  • Contributes to tools, processes, and best practices that support consistent advisory delivery.
  • Builds role-related capability through ongoing learning and development.
  • Supports planning and activation of client-facing events by coordinating logistics, managing invitations or responses, and preparing materials.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience/certification.
  • CEPA (Certified Exit Planning Advisor) designation not required at hire but expected to pursue as part of ongoing professional development.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in wealth management, financial planning support, commercial banking, business advisory, consulting, or a related client-facing environment supporting entrepreneurs or family-owned businesses.
  • Intermediate knowledge and skill proficiency in business analysis, communication, consultation, cross-functional collaboration, customer experience, laws and regulations, relationship management, and technology literacy.
  • Basic knowledge and skill proficiency in business acumen.
  • Demonstrates the ability to apply developing professional judgment and support high-quality, advisory execution in client-facing environments.
  • Strong and organized follow-through and responsiveness.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Senior Advisor Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience advising or supporting entrepreneurs, family-owned businesses, or high-net-worth clients in wealth management, commercial banking, consulting, or a related advisory environment.
  • Advanced knowledge and skill proficiency in customer experience, cross-functional collaboration, communication, consultative solutions, relationship management, and stakeholder management.
  • Intermediate knowledge and skill proficiency in business analysis, business acumen, laws & regulations, and technology literacy.
  • Demonstrates strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence without authority across multiple partner teams.
  • Applies discretion and judgment in complex client situations and sustains a high-quality end-to-end advisory experience through coordinated execution.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
