About the role
As a Financial Solutions Advisor within the centralized segment of the Advisor Development Program, your journey begins by obtaining your Securities Industry licenses, including the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 Exams. Once licensed, you will develop foundational skills to advise clients on their complex financial needs, offering holistic guidance and solutions to help them achieve their life goals. This role is phone-based and focuses on identifying broader product and service solutions for investment, savings, and liability management.
You will demonstrate knowledge of investments and financial markets, applying key principles to meet individual client needs while aligning Merrill and Bank of America products and services where appropriate. This role serves as a pathway to becoming a Merrill Financial Advisor, with structured training and development opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic financial advice and guidance to clients, identifying solutions for investment, savings, and liability management.
- Apply knowledge of investments and financial markets to address individual client investment needs.
- Align Merrill and Bank of America products and services with client goals.
- Work with affluent and high-net-worth clients to identify needs, develop relationships, review investment goals, and prepare recommendations.
- Deliver end-to-end comprehensive advice, conduct client reviews, and recommend strategies to help clients achieve financial goals.
- Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to connect clients with solutions across Bank of America and Merrill.
- Manage a portfolio of clients by providing exceptional care with industry-leading products, services, and education.
- Leverage relationships with one in every two U.S. households to grow your business.
- Obtain required Securities Industry licenses (SIE within 60 days, Series 7 and 66 within 120 days of hire).

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience (desired).
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technology or applications.
- Capability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously.

Schedule
Full-time position (40 hours per week) on the 1st shift.
This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including background checks and federal registry registration for employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations.
