Your role in our mission

• Analyze business and regulatory requirements to define system enhancements and technical solutions.
• Design and develop financial system components and batch processes (hard-copy reports, data extracts, reconciliation tools, and automated workflows) for various user groups, including financial analysts, auditors, system administrators, and internal engineering teams.
• Code, build, compile, and test system modifications using established team standards and secure development practices.
• Serve as a technical advocate for financial users, helping refine system requirements to support accounting rules, financial controls, and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance SMEs, BA’s, product owners, QA, and infrastructure.
• Work on projects of moderate to complex scope, often involving financial transactions, balancing logic, controls, and structured data.
• Exercise independent judgment within defined policies and development procedures.
• Provide analysis and limited direction on assigned enhancements or financial modules.
• Interpret and follow established audit, compliance, and operational guidelines.
• Evaluate unique financial use cases and make recommendations to improve accuracy, performance, or compliance.

What we're looking for

• 9+ years of experience in application design, development, and programming using C, UNIX/Linux, XML, and SQL.
• Prior experience working with healthcare IT systems and financial systems is required.
• Experience documenting and executing unit test cases.
• Experience supporting system design, development, maintenance, and production support for financial batch processes and data workflows.
• Knowledge of GitHub repository and AWS preferred.

What you should expect in this role

• Oncall requirements: Will be oncall twice every 5 weeks
• Opportunities to travel through your work (0-10%)
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and travel as required
• Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation

Pay Range

The pay range for this position is $100,000 - $115,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
