This role partners closely with the Product Manager to align technical decisions with product strategy, represents engineering in directional discussions, proactively manages technical risk, and creates the conditions for the broader team to stay focused on delivering immediate priorities with minimal context switching. • Facilitate clear communication between engineers and other product team members, fostering open channels across cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Apply advanced hands-on expertise in diagnosing complex UKG Pro WFM issues, performing root cause analysis, and driving sustainable fixes across configuration, integrations, and upstream/downstream dependencies.
  • Represent engineering in product planning and prioritization, owning technical risk identification, mitigation, and communication with key internal and external partners.
  • Recommend and implement highly complex strategies for UKG Pro WFM configuration and solution design across core modules including Timekeeping, Accruals, Attendance, Scheduling, and device/integration touchpoints.
  • Apply expertise in UKG Pro WFM data flows and integrations, including Boomi or similar middleware, to assess cross-interface impacts, troubleshoot failures, and guide robust end-to-end solution design.
  • Ensure continuous integration, testing, and deployment practices are in place, supporting the team in breaking down work into small, deliverable increments with minimal rework.
  • Mentor engineers, fostering skill development, knowledge sharing, and a culture of learning, experimentation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience, typically reflecting 10 years or more.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading UKG Pro WFM implementations in complex, multi-country or global environments, with attention to regional compliance, scale, and operational stability.
  • Expertise in UKG Pro WFM integrations including Boomi or comparable middleware, with ability to guide end-to-end solution design across upstream and downstream dependencies.
