The Advising & Student Success Coordinator in the Gerrish School of Business supports student academic achievement and engagement through advising, course programming, and administrative coordination.

Key Responsibilities
Student Advising and Support (50%): Provide direct academic advising to students, monitor student degree progress, coordinate with campus resources, and engage in professional development.
Student Success Events & Programming (40%): Support advising initiatives, coordinate events, and assist with student engagement.
Admissions (10%): Support admissions-related activities, including executing key events and marketing the school.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in academic advising, student success, or counseling
- Experience with learning styles, evidence-based learning strategies, and academic success techniques
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Experience with Workday preferred, but not required
Pay
In compliance with Massachusetts pay transparency law, the annual base salary range for this position is $53,000–$60,000. The final salary is determined by the Human Resources Office based on factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the position, relevant work experience, education, specialized skills, internal equity, and external market data.
