Key Responsibilities
- Aid Media Buyers with campaign research, including ratings, audience data, cost comparisons, and market trends.
- Coordinate and maintain local and national media buys for Broadcast TV, Cable, Radio, and Streaming platforms.
- Support the preparation of media flowcharts, proposals, and buy summaries.
- Track and manage vendor communications and maintain updated media kits/rate cards.
- Aid in processing insertion orders, verifying creative specs, and confirming media placements.
- Maintain organized records of campaign documents, revisions, and client files.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate campaign execution.
- Stay informed about emerging media trends and tools, particularly in traditional and streaming audio/video channels.
- Perform additional administrative and project-based duties as assigned by the VP, Media Director.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree preferred, or relevant work experience in advertising or media.
- One to two years of internship or agency experience in media, marketing, or communications is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- A basic understanding of traditional media buying and planning principles is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A willingness to learn industry software and tools (media research, buying, or billing platforms).
- A positive, can-do attitude and a team-first mindset.
