Advertising Installer

Our Lamar office in Phoenix, Arizona is hiring an Installer to bring innovative advertising campaigns to life for brands in Phoenix, AZ and the surrounding areas. The Transit & Airport division delivers advertising messages to drivers and pedestrians in a fresh, non-conventional way, helping local, regional, and national advertisers reach their target audience on the go.

About the role

The purpose of this position is to install advertising campaigns on transit fleets, bus shelters, and train stations in compliance with Lamar and various Transit Authorities guidelines. This includes maintaining bus shelters and cleaning and removing expired advertisements.

Responsibilities

• Install and remove traditional and signature advertisements/campaigns on the interior and exterior of buses, trains, train stations, and shelters.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory of advertisements being installed or removed, including transit number, advertisement numbers, and tracking daily installations.
• Maintain transit bus shelters by repairing damages, replacing light bulbs, removing graffiti, and reporting damages for reordering and replacement.
• Build strong relationships with the operations manager and transit district staff through effective communication and knowledge of transit yard processes.
• Keep storage/warehouse organized, maintain vehicle and machinery appearance, and report required maintenance to the Operations Manager.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License and High School Diploma required.
• 3-M Certification Program a plus.
• Experience in vinyl graphics installation, sign shop, and/or vehicle wrap experience preferred.
• Preferred 6 months to 1-year experience in an industry requiring hands-on work and attention to detail (e.g., auto body shop, vehicle wrapping, sign shop, flooring, carpentry).
• Ability to work with transit fleets/authorities and read written instructions.
• Ability to document installations through photographs and written logs.
• Strong communication skills to interact with management and transit personnel.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed spreadsheets, including inventory logs.

Skills

• Energetic, reliable, and enjoys hands-on work.
• Quick learner with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work overnight shifts (Monday - Friday, 6pm - 2am).

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Primarily outdoors, working around moving buses and performing night work.
• Frequently on your feet with physical demands including lifting 50 to 75 pounds, pushing, reaching, and climbing.
• Requires seeing (reading, color distinction, acuity, depth perception, peripheral vision), sitting less than 50% of the time, standing, stooping, talking, turning, and walking.
• Occasional travel to other Lamar markets (less than 10% of the time).

Pay

An hourly range of $23 - $25/hour, dependent on relevant experience and qualifications, plus a sign-on bonus.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 6pm - 2am (overnight).
