About the role
Joining AdventHealth Apopka as a Hospitalist, the ideal candidate will work a 7 on/7 off schedule with day shifts from 1 PM to 11 PM, including 19 mandatory night shifts per year. No call is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care in a hospital setting
- Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based medical practices
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient-centered care
- Participate in ongoing professional development through CME allowances
Requirements
- Board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Experience in hospitalist medicine
- Strong communication skills
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited residency program
- Current license to practice medicine in the state of Florida
- Passing scores on all required exams
