Advanced Warehouse Operator - SHOP

About the role

We are looking for a talented warehouse operator to join our distribution team in Houston, TX. In this role, you will make an impact by following established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions, and dispatch goods in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming goods, check for damage, and verify discrepancies between goods and invoices
• Accurately sort, label, and store goods while optimizing warehouse space
• Pick, pack, and dispatch goods according to written or verbal requests or orders
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery
• Perform cycle counts, prepare bills of lading, and use computer software

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift certification
• Experience in shipping and receiving
• Ability to physically lift 50 pounds occasionally
• Must wear required personal protective equipment
• Certification to operate powered industrial vehicles (reach trucks, order pickers, pallet riders, etc.) and/or other heavy machinery
• May require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations
