About the role
We are looking for a talented Advanced Warehouse Operator – level II to join our team specializing in Shop for our Cummins Inc. facility in Rocky Mount, NC.
Responsibilities
- Efficient Handling and Storage: By accurately receiving, sorting, labeling, and storing goods, you will optimize warehouse space and ensure smooth operations.
- Timely Dispatch: Picking, packing, and dispatching outgoing goods according to requests will help meet customer expectations and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Safety Compliance: Adhering to Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards and using appropriate personal protective equipment will promote a safe working environment.
- Quality Assurance: Performing quality checks and identifying non-conforming materials will help maintain high standards and minimize cost and quality issues.
- Equipment Operation: Operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently will contribute to the overall productivity of the warehouse.
- Environmental Responsibility: Recognizing and minimizing the environmental impact of your work will support the company's sustainability goals.
- Team Collaboration: Communicating effectively with your team and participating in training and improvement initiatives will foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- Minimum of 2+ years of PIV experience required (Forklift, Tugger, Burden carrier, etc.).

Pay
- Salary range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour.
