About the role
Coordinate the development of investment in manufacturing studies for the next generation of new model programs. Lead, facilitate, and coordinate the activities of the study team, serve as the liaison with Product Engineering and technical estimation specialists, and develop and audit final deliverables. Coordinate Product Committee, Industrial Committee, and Global Product Committee meeting preparation activities, ensure manufacturing-related information is properly utilized, and resolve conflicts with engineering teams. Effectively communicate with and routinely present to senior management.
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate the activities of the study team.
- Serve as the liaison with Product Engineering and technical estimation specialists.
- Develop and audit final deliverables for manufacturing studies.
- Coordinate preparation activities for Product Committee, Industrial Committee, and Global Product Committee meetings.
- Ensure manufacturing-related information is properly utilized.
- Resolve conflicts with engineering teams.
- Communicate with and present to senior management.
- Estimate equipment and rack costs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 10 years in Logistics planning or engineering.
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- General understanding of Logistics operations for Stamping, Body Shops, and General Assembly.
- Ability to estimate equipment and rack costs.
