Advanced Theatre Technician

Duties/Responsibilities

• Complete needed technical setups of the performing spaces per events specifications.
• Set up of supplemental spaces as needed (i.e. extra dressing rooms, storage spaces for equipment, etc.).
• Supervise student crew including training on theatre equipment and its operation.
• Run the technical side of events in the Redfern Arts Center.
• Help Maintain the Redfern theatrical equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in technical theatre or related field.

Qualifications

• Very independent and task-oriented.
• Ability to make decisions about the space, equipment needed, and safety during events.
• Experience working with KSC students both as supplemental instructors and supervisors.

Skills
