Advanced Specialist, Partnership Management
About the Role
The Advanced Specialist, Partnership Management is a leadership position in our Go-to-Market Division, supporting the development, growth, and administration of large-scale assessment programs for our clients. This role works internally with departments to design and implement assessment products and services, and externally with clients to develop and grow programs to meet their needs. The position reports to a Lead, Partnership Management and operates in a hybrid remote/office format, with in-office activities required in Pearson’s Hadley, MA office.
Responsibilities
- Leadership:
- Apply knowledge of large-scale assessment and measurement to design and implement tests and program activities, ensuring professional standards and client needs are met.
- Manage components of large-scale assessment activities, including development, administration, and scoring.
- Oversee the development of processes, procedures, and schedules for meeting project deliverables.
- Provide quality control for all products, processes, and project activities.
- Develop work plans and apply best practices in assessment development and administration.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Support the Lead, Partnership Management in developing and maintaining long-term, collaborative relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
- Ensure program activities align with Pearson’s goals, contract specifications, schedules, and budgets, delivering quality service that meets or exceeds customer satisfaction.
- Serve as an advisor and thought partner to clients, bringing existing and new products and services to market.
- Manage client expectations and maintain ongoing communication to keep clients informed and obtain feedback.
- Program Management:
- Provide leadership in support of the Lead, Partnership Management.
- Deliver regular program status updates to the Lead, Partnership Management.
- Represent both client and corporate perspectives in decision-making.
- Participate in developing proposals, contract amendments, subcontracts, and statements of work.
- Incorporate knowledge of testing, measurement, and client needs into product and service development.
Qualifications
- Advanced graduate degree in policy, assessment, measurement, education, or a related field.
- Experience in management related to large-scale testing, preferably in certification and licensing.
- Professional experience managing project and program contracts.
- 3+ years of experience in the educational testing and assessment industry preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience directing staff in planning, organizing, scheduling, monitoring, and evaluating work.
- Proven client relationship and project management experience.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workloads and handle complex situations independently.
- Strong analytic capability and knowledge of education policies, issues, and programs.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.
Pay
The minimum full-time salary range for this position is between $70,000 - $80,000, influenced by factors such as skill set, experience, and location. This role is eligible for an annual incentive program.
