Our DoD/Aerospace Client is seeking an Advanced Space Systems Engineer to support the development of advanced space-based systems and mission-critical technologies. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge engineering efforts involving digital signal processing, communications systems, and complex space payload architectures.The position is based in Scottsdale, Arizona and is 100% onsite. The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary engineering environment supporting the design, analysis, integration, and testing of advanced defense and aerospace systems. Location: Scottsdale, AZ Position: Advanced Space Systems Engineer Contract Length: 12–24 months with possibility of going direct Pay: $70.04/hour Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience or Master's degree with 3+ years of related experience Schedule: 100% Onsite (9/80 schedule may be available) Clearance Requirement: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance; U.S. Citizenship required Position Overview As the Advanced Space Systems Engineer, you'll be responsible for supporting the development, analysis, integration, and testing of advanced space-based systems utilizing digital signal processing technologies. This position works closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop and evaluate hardware and software solutions supporting mission-critical space programs. The role includes applying systems engineering principles to the analysis of signal parameter measurements, detection and estimation techniques, communications systems, and RF signal processing. You will participate in technical planning, systems modeling, requirements development, performance analysis, and hardware/software integration activities. Working within a highly collaborative engineering environment, you will contribute to the successful delivery of advanced space systems while supporting innovation across communications, payload development, and digital engineering initiatives.
