Primary Responsibilities
Designing real-time cloud processing solutions
Implementing advanced signal processing and geolocation algorithms with efficient software
Testing with real data
Providing applications to front-line customer facilities
Creating effective user interfaces and data visualization tools
Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies, tools, and methodologies and experimenting with new technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into RRC projects
Required Background
Degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
Minimum 8 years' experience in software engineering-related discipline
Proficient in modern software engineering practices for testability and readability
Proficient in C++ and Python in LINUX environments
Demonstrated ability to design software systems to ensure they achieve functionality, performance, scalability, and maintainability requirements
Able and willing to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance - US citizenship required
Desired Background
DevOps and Cloud computing Experience (Gitlab, CI/CD, CVE mitigations, Docker, Kubernetes, PIP)
Agile development processes
Able to mentor other engineers and provide technical advice to project leaders
Location
The position can be located at our Centennial, CO; Chantilly, VA offices or our Tucson, AZ Headquarters. Remote work/telework is not available for this position.
