About the role

The Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) position in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Manatee Memorial Hospital is a full-time day position.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing cardiothoracic surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide patient care.
• Prescribe medications and manage patient medication regimens.
• Conduct follow-up appointments and coordinate care with other healthcare providers.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.

Requirements

• Current licensure as an ARNP in the state of Florida.
• At least three years of clinical experience in cardiothoracic surgery.
• Experience with cardiothoracic surgical procedures and protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Nursing.
• ACGME accredited residency in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or a related field.
• Current certification as an ARNP.
