Advanced Records Center Staff Attorney

About the role

The staff attorney will handle Public Records Act requests for our municipal clients throughout California and ideally Nevada as well, and supervise a team of dedicated paralegals and reviewers.

Responsibilities

• Handle Public Records Act requests for municipal clients in California and ideally Nevada
• Supervise a team of paralegals and reviewers
• Extensive experience with and substantive knowledge of the Public Records Act
• Extensive experience with e-discovery
• E-discovery certification preferred
• May be remote but expected to travel to client offices and courts throughout the relevant regions

Requirements

• Admitted to practice in California

• Substantive knowledge of the Public Records Act
• Experience with e-discovery

• Strong research and writing skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage a team

Pay

The reasonably expected pay scale for this position is $90,000 - $125,000. The actual salary within that range will depend on the selected candidate’s years of practice and experience.

Schedule

Remote but expected to travel to client offices and courts throughout the relevant regions.
