Advanced Quality Auditor - Pittsfield, MA

About the role

The following position is available to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Developing mission-critical systems that help keep people safe
• Estimating manufacturing costs, determining time standards, and making recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines
• Planning, conducting, and reporting internal and external audits to ensure compliance with company quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications
• Developing strong communications with internal teams to support continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related specialized area or the equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• J-STD_001, 002, IPC 610, MIL-STD-883, or NASA std's certification may be required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
• 3+ years of quality auditing experience
• Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, or CMMI standards
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Skills

• Advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cloud Native and Quantum Physics
• Reviewing documents, drawings and instructions for conformance to requirements techniques
• Identifying opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation

Pay

Target salary range: USD $90,000.00/Yr. - USD $95,000.00/Yr.
