About the role
Seeking Hospitalist physician assistants and nurse practitioners. Current national certification and DEA are required. Candidates interested in working in an academic setting with residents are desired. A current Georgia state license is a plus.
The Practice
- St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital – Lavonia, Georgia
- STEMI Receiving Center and Stroke Center with a gold-star rating for stroke
- 56-bed facility with an annual volume of 24,500
- Hospitalists run codes; ER can assist as well
- Central lines, intubations, and ventilator management required (ER can assist)
- Partnered with Augusta University/University of Georgia to create the region’s first medical residency program for internal medicine
