About the Role
Seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners. Previous ED/UCC experience is required; new graduates are welcome to apply. Current national certification, DEA, and ACLS are required. A current California state license is a plus.
The Practice
A dual-hospital system serving Oxnard and Camarillo, California:
- St. John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital (Camarillo)
- St. John’s Regional Medical Center (Oxnard) – a 266-bed facility with a 31-bed Emergency Department, Stroke Center, STEMI Receiving Center, and TCASC. The ED handles a wide range of acuities with a 15% admit rate and maintains a full call panel excluding ophthalmology and hand. On-site resources include glidescope and POCUS.

Pay
