Cintas is seeking an Advanced Production Manager to report to the location Plant Manager and aid in managing the Production department. This role includes completing a defined curriculum of activities to prepare the partner to successfully lead a Rental Production facility within a 24-month timeframe.
Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned area or areas of the Production department, including hiring and developing a high-performing team, managing performance, and providing leadership.
- Address customer service issues and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Achieve departmental goals, maintain inventory, manage budgets, and resolve operational issues affecting service.
- Provide input on immediate and long-range planning of location goals and objectives.
- Work independently to collate and analyze data using pre-determined tools, methods, and formats.
- Ensure all Production systems and processes in the assigned area function properly daily to keep the plant on schedule.
- Maintain and update internal communications systems to ensure effectiveness.
- Conduct knowledge management tasks by following established procedures to support others.
- Investigate questions related to existing programs, processes, and procedures to understand Cintas Production facility operations.
- Control costs and review financial statements with the Plant Manager daily, weekly, and monthly to ensure financial discipline.
- Navigate existing processes, procedures, and precedents to interpret data and identify solutions.
- Meet department-specific KPIs during time spent in each department.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
- Ability to relocate.
- 3 to 5 years of management experience preferred.
- Experience supervising and directing people and resources to achieve specific results within limited timeframes.
