(Advanced Practitioner) NP or PA - Cardiology Svcs 7th Ave (Full-Time, Days)

Compensation range: $71.36 - $96.33 per hour, based on applicable experience. Sign-on bonus: $10,000.00.

Schedule: Days shift, 8-hour shifts, fixed days off on Saturday & Sunday, 80 hours per pay period.

Enloe Health is a Level II Trauma Center located in Northern California, offering a full array of medical services. This role involves providing and coordinating direct patient care, including diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventative healthcare services as delegated by a physician. In addition to clinic work, the position may require hospital duties on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventative healthcare services under physician delegation.
• Coordinate direct patient care in both clinic and hospital settings.

• Access specialty referrals and community resources for diverse patient populations.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally, and perform essential job functions.

Requirements

Physician Assistant

• Graduate of a PA educational program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission (ARC) on Education for Physician Assistants (or its predecessor agency) or current certification with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Current California Physician Assistant License.
• Certification by NCCPA (if not a graduate from an accredited ARC Physician Assistant educational program).
• Current AHA-HCP CPR recognition.
• Current ACLS recognition.
• Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) number or proof of application.
• Credentialed through the Enloe Medical Staff Office and Finance Office.

Desired: Recent experience appropriate to the clinical area where practice will occur.

Nurse Practitioner

• Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing.
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with the California Board of Registered Nursing.
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner Furnisher with the California Board of Registered Nursing.
• National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner within 8 months of hire.
• Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) number or proof of application.
• Current CPR (BLS).
• Current ACLS certification (required only for Electrophysiology subspecialty).
• Meets Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) criteria to bill Medicare.
• Credentialed through the Enloe Medical Staff Office and Finance Office.

Desired: Clinical experience in Cardiology.
