About the Role

The Advanced Practice Team Educator will work across the Primary Care service line network while maintaining a clinical home at one Baystate Health primary care location. The Primary Care service line includes 15 practices across the Pioneer Valley of western Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an educator and clinical resource for Advanced Practice Providers across the Primary Care service line.
  • Utilize 20% protected educator/administrative time for curriculum development, clinical orientation, ongoing education, performance improvement, and communication across the APP team.
  • Partner with the Primary Care Advanced Practice Supervisor to develop and implement a robust training curriculum for APPs across the primary care service line.
  • Design and lead clinical orientation programming for newly hired APPs, helping them build confidence, consistency, and clinical excellence in primary care practice.
  • Coordinate and deliver ongoing educational and performance improvement programs that support clinical excellence and continuous learning.
  • Serve as a liaison to the APP team alongside the APP Supervisor, supporting clear communication, information sharing, and engagement.
  • Maintain a clinical practice at one of Baystate Health’s primary care locations in addition to educator/administrative responsibilities.
  • Influence APP development, clinical consistency, team-based care, and the overall growth of the Primary Care Advanced Practice team.

Requirements

  • Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Minimum of five years of primary care experience.
  • Self-starter with initiative and focus on achieving results.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to build consensus while maintaining momentum.

Pay

$128,000 - $175,000 per year.
