Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN/NP)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history, symptoms, and chronic condition assessment
  • Perform physical exams and other necessary clinical assessments to support accurate diagnosis
  • Provide accurate diagnoses and clearly communicate findings and treatment plans to patients
  • Develop and implement individualized, holistic treatment strategies tailored to each patient’s needs
  • Perform in-office procedures as applicable to role (required for Position 2)
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all patient interactions in the EMR
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient flow and continuity of care
  • Respond promptly to patient and RN inquiries via phone, email, or portal, including sensitive and complex concerns
  • Auxiliary in the development and documentation of clinical protocols and new service offerings

Education/Qualifications

  • Active Florida APRN (NP) license with Board Certification
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum of 3 years as of clinical experience as APRN/NP in a medical setting
  • Oncology experience required for Position 1; family/primary care background required for Position 2
  • Willingness and ability to perform in-office procedures required for Position 2
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in alternative, functional, or holistic medicine preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency with EMR systems and clinical documentation
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrated empathy in patient interactions, including with patients and family members managing chronic or complex conditions
  • Ability to document clearly and accurately following established clinical formats

Language Skills

  • Must be fluent in English
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential patient information
  • Must demonstrate empathy in both tone and communication style
  • Ability to document clearly, accurately, and in accordance with prescribed formats

Physical Demands

  • Perform patient consultations, physical exams, and related clinical procedures in an office setting
  • Work with patients of varying sizes, conditions, and chronic health needs
  • Ability to assist with and control patient movement during exams and procedures to ensure patient and staff safety

Schedule

  • Full-time position
  • Minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Monday through Friday
