About the role
Renal Associates, P.A. is seeking passionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join their team. Preferred candidates will have experience working in nephrology, cardiology, or the hospitalist setting, although it is not required. Training is provided to ensure a smooth transition for candidates without nephrology experience.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing expertise in diagnosis and treatment to prevent, remediate, or alleviate illness and promote health, thus, resulting in improved patient outcomes. This includes knowledge of patient assessment techniques, diagnosing and treating medical problems, developing care plans, and documentation in medical records in a confidential manner.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree program in nursing or physician assistant studies with nationally recognized course content
- Formal clinical preparation with minimum hour standards per program requirements
- Competencies in advanced health assessment, physical examination, diagnosis, planning, and managing care including pharmacotherapeutics
- Knowledge of patient assessment techniques including taking medical histories, performing physicals, evaluating health status including state of wellness, and compliance with care recommendations
Benefits
- Hiring Package: $100,000-$115,000 base salary DOE
- Bonus opportunity of 10% of net collections
- 1,000 PTO
- 20 days/year + 8 paid holidays
- Mileage reimbursement for required travel
Schedule
Flexible schedule to include a combination of dialysis center rounding, daytime hospital coverage, and/or outpatient clinic coverage. Exact schedule will be discussed during initial practice interview - dependent upon APP location.
