About the role
As a Part-Time Advanced Practice Provider, you will work 24 hours per week on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, providing pre-op appointments and working closely with our Total Joint and Spine Teams. This onsite position offers the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients and make a meaningful impact on their recovery journey, while enjoying a schedule designed to fit your lifestyle. No weekends, no holidays, and no call required.
Responsibilities
- Perform health histories, physical examinations, and careful chart reviews of patients having a planned outpatient surgical procedure
- Work closely with Total Joint, Spine, and Anesthesia teams
Requirements
- Graduate of an Accredited Advanced Practice Provider School
- Nurse Practitioner Certification from ANCC or AANP or Physician Assistant Certification from NCCPA
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with ability to practice independently within scope
- At least one (1) year, and preferably three (3), of internal medicine experience
- BLS Certification
Qualifications
- Preference given to candidates with a history of experience in a perioperative medicine/PAE/PAT/OR or Orthopedic setting
