The Vascular Surgery Advanced Practice Provider position at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL, is a full-time opportunity with a flexible schedule. The role is based at Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized institution.
About the Role
This position is part of a collaborative team of six vascular surgeons and four advanced practice providers. The APP will work in both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing care for patients with complex medical conditions.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients with complex medical conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Collaborate with multiple disciplines to ensure cost-effective and high-quality patient care.
- Exemplify the Rush mission, vision, and values, adhering to Rush policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner: Current Illinois RN license and APN license or eligibility to obtain through IDFPR. ANCC or AANP certification required. CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Physician Assistant: Current Illinois PA license or eligibility to obtain through IDFPR. NCAP certification required. CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Requirements
- Must hold Acute Care Certification and RNFA training.
- Prior APP experience in Vascular Surgery preferred; relevant RN experience may be considered.
- Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, strong communication skills, and collaborative care.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $130,840 - $184,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
The position is primarily based at Rush’s downtown Chicago campus and follows a Monday-Friday schedule consisting of four 10-hour shifts, with no nights, weekends, or call responsibilities.
