Responsibilities
The Palliative Care Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for:
- Assessment and diagnosis of patients with serious, life-limiting illnesses.
- Symptom management and development of care plans within the scope of practice.
- Collaboration with physicians, residents, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Alignment of care with patient and family goals.
Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Masters of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS).
- Current and valid Physician Assistant License or Advanced Practice Nurse License in the State of Illinois or eligibility for licensing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Federal DEA registration and State of Illinois Controlled Substance License required.

Pay
Expected pay for this position is $55.20 - $63.65/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
