Advanced Practice Provider (PA/FNP)- Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic

About the role

We are a fast-growing network of ENT clinics seeking an excellence-minded, service-driven, and forward-thinking Physician Assistant (PA) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our outpatient-based team. Our practice specializes in nasal and sinus disorders, hearing and balance disorders, throat and voice complications, head and neck surgery, allergy management, diagnostic audiology and vestibular testing, and hearing aid dispensing. Our office features a state-of-the-art balance and fall prevention center.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new patient consults and establish patient visits
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care
• Accurately evaluate patient problems in person or via phone and provide appropriate advice, intervention, or referral
• Develop and revise patient care plans based on patient status
• Split coverage between Frederick and Hagerstown clinics
• Demonstrate competency in caring for all age groups

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Family Nurse Practitioner program
• State licensure and board certification required
• ENT experience required
• Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong clinical skills and a passion for building patient relationships with a focus on bedside manner

Qualifications & Knowledge

• Knowledge of the medical model and roles of physicians and physician assistants
• Familiarity with anatomy, pharmacology, pathophysiology, clinical medicine, and physical diagnosis
• Proficiency in patient assessment techniques, including taking medical histories, performing physicals, evaluating health status, and ensuring compliance with care recommendations
• Ability to diagnose and treat medical problems and develop care plans
• Experience documenting medical records in a confidential manner

Pay

Annual base salary with 10% bonus potential.
