Advanced Practice Provider - Outpatient Gastroenterology (Sayre, PA)
Highlights of the Position
Based on the Robert Packer Hospital campus in Sayre, PA, this Advanced Practice Provider role is 100% ambulatory.
You will evaluate and manage adult patients with common GI conditions, support longitudinal IBD and hepatology follow-up, optimize medication therapy, coordinate care, and provide pre-/post-procedure education.
You will collaborate closely with gastroenterologists, fellow APPs, RNs, and clinic leadership within an integrated multi-specialty system.

Candidate Requirements

- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with current national certification
- Eligible for Pennsylvania licensure, prescriptive authority, and DEA. Current BLS required (ACLS preferred).
- Prior gastroenterology or internal medicine experience is preferred; motivated new graduates with strong adult medicine rotations and a clear interest in GI will be considered
- Success in this role requires excellent patient education, team communication, EMR documentation proficiency, and a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach.
