Gastroenterology Advanced Practice Provider
About the role
Medical City Denton is seeking a full-time hospital based advanced practice provider to support the gastroenterology (GI) service line.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to patients in the GI service line under the supervision of board-certified gastroenterologists.
- Perform endoscopic procedures as directed by supervising physicians.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
- Assist in the education of patients regarding their conditions and treatment options.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development activities.
Requirements
- Experienced providers are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Active Texas license required.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited physician assistant program.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant.
- Experience in gastroenterology preferred.
