Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat work-related injuries and illnesses, providing timely and effective care.
Perform a range of physicals, including DOT, pre-employment, and return-to-work assessments, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Conduct OSHA-mandated exams, respirator clearances, and drug/alcohol testing, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
Emphasize injury prevention and early intervention strategies, working closely with employers to implement safe return-to-work plans.
Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and employer partners to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Utilize efficient workflows designed to support your autonomy and maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Qualifications

Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a valid license to practice in Illinois.
Experience in occupational medicine or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong clinical skills and a passion for preventive care and health promotion.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively.
Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.
A commitment to continuing education and professional development.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry standards is an asset.
Basic computer literacy and proficiency in electronic health record systems.
A team player with a positive attitude and a desire to make a difference in the community.
Flexibility to adapt to the needs of a dynamic and collaborative practice environment.
