About the role
Rush Copley Medical Center, in Aurora, Illinois, part of the Rush University System for Health network of hospitals, invites applications for the position of Obstetrics & Gynecology Advanced Practice Provider.
Responsibilities
- Primary responsibility being surgical first assist, inpatient rounding and post-operative care
- First-assisting during cesarean deliveries, minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries, and routine gynecologic operative cases
- Collaborating with obstetric and gynecologic surgeons to ensure seamless, high-quality surgical support
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner: Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse or eligible to obtain a licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) application process
- Master of Science in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing practice with clinical specialty appropriate to position
- Current certification by American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioner (AANP)
- CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Physician Assistant: Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Physician Assistant/Associate or eligible to obtain a licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) application process
- Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant/Associate Program
- Current certification from National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
- CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Qualifications
- Previous Advanced Practice Provider experience in women’s health or related specialty is preferred, not required.
- Relevant RN experience may be considered.

Pay
This role pays a total pay range of $105,000 - $158,000 for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. Additional compensation may include premium pay rates, sign-on bonuses, and relocation allowances.
Schedule
Monday-Friday, hours varied between 7am and 5pm.
