About the role
Provide specialized wound care to patients in their homes and post-acute care settings, with clinical autonomy and physician collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage acute, chronic, and complex wounds
- Develop individualized wound care treatment plans
- Perform wound procedures, including debridement when credentialed
- Order and interpret labs, imaging, and vascular studies
- Coordinate care with other healthcare providers
- Educate patients and caregivers
- Maintain accurate EHR documentation
- Travel locally throughout the workday
Qualifications
- Current unrestricted NC NP or PA license and board certification
- Master's degree from an accredited NP or PA program
- 2+ years clinical experience
- Wound care experience strongly required
- Strong clinical judgment and independent practice skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Schedule
5 days/week; approximately 6 patients/day
