Advanced Practice Provider - NCMA Geriatrics - Full-time

Responsibilities

• Provides healthcare to patients with an emphasis on disease prevention, health promotion, health maintenance, and supportive care.
• Works independently and collaboratively to diagnose, prescribe treatment, manage, and evaluate patient care.
• Functions as an educator, healthcare resource, interdisciplinary consultant, and patient advocate.

Requires a Collaborative/Supervisory Agreement as mandated by state and board regulatory statutes. Must hold a valid DEA number and KASPER registration if prescribing controlled substances. Maintains appropriate scope of practice within the patient population.

Qualifications

Required:

• Master’s Degree in Nursing
• National Nurse Practitioner (NNP) certification
• Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure

Desired:

• Doctorate Degree in Nursing
