Advanced Practice Provider - Long-Term Acute Care (part-time, 0.50 FTE) - Chicago, IL-25131

The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hospital Medicine at Rush University Medical Center, Chicago, IL, is seeking a part-time Long-Term Acute Care Advanced Practice Provider (0.50 FTE).

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work alongside three fellow LTACH APPs in collaboration with Rush University Hospitalists and Select Medical.
• Provide 10-hour or 12-hour shifts, days only including weekends.
• Report directly to the Hospital Medicine Lead Advanced Practice Provider.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Advanced Practice Provider experience in Hospital Medicine, Critical Care, or related specialty.
• Relevant RN experience may be considered.
• Acute Care Certification required.

Position Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner:
  • Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse or eligible to obtain a licensure through the IDFPR application process.
  • Master of Science in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing practice with clinical specialty appropriate to position.
  • Current certification by ANCC or AANP.
  • CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Physician Assistant:
  • Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Physician Assistant/Associate or eligible to obtain a licensure through the IDFPR application process.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant/Associate Program.
  • Current certification from NCCPA.
  • CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be a current licensed Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Illinois.
• Must hold a Master of Science in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing practice with clinical specialty appropriate to position.
• Must have current certification by ANCC or AANP.
• Must have CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Must have Acute Care Certification.

Benefits

Rush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs. The total pay range for this role is $124,610 - $175,000 for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee. Additional compensation may include premium pay rates, sign-on bonuses, and relocation allowances. Rush also offers a comprehensive benefits package.
