Advanced Practice Provider Internal Medicine

About the role

Intermountain Health is seeking a full-time Internal Medicine APP (Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse) at their Pahrump Clinic in Nevada. This position offers competitive compensation, incentives, and opportunities for mentorship, leadership roles, and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive internal medicine care to patients in a rural setting with high needs/high acuity populations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Conduct routine physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as appropriate.
• Mentor and train other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in ongoing education and training related to internal medicine.

Requirements

• Current state license as a Physician Assistant or Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
• Certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• Eligible for State Controlled Substance License II through V.
• Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate II through V.
• BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Other certifications as required (e.g. ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP).

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree.

Pay

The hourly range for this position is $57.33 - $88.47, with actual rates dependent upon experience.

Schedule

Available options are 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts or 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts.
