About the role
Responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care including diagnosis, treatment, education, and referrals in an outpatient hematology oncology clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform clinical assessments and develop care plans
- Manage patient records and collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
- Educate patients and families
- Coordinate follow-ups and supervise trainees
- Serve as a clinical resource and role model
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Engage in training, community outreach, and research activities to enhance patient outcomes and practice standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in nursing or Physician Assistant studies
- 3+ years of relevant clinical experience and 5+ years in the field
- Current licensure and certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, including specialty-specific certifications
- Maintain current certifications and licensure
- Adhere to legal and organizational policies
- Participate in ongoing professional development, quality initiatives, and multidisciplinary teamwork
