About the role

Responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care including diagnosis, treatment, education, and referrals in an outpatient Hematology Oncology clinical setting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform clinical assessments and develop care plans
  • Manage patient records and collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
  • Educate patients and families and coordinate follow-up care
  • Supervise trainees and serve as a clinical resource and role model
  • Participate in quality improvement, training, community outreach, and research activities to enhance patient outcomes and practice standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in nursing or Physician Assistant studies
  • 3+ years of relevant clinical experience and 5+ years in the field
  • Current licensure and certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, including specialty-specific certifications
  • Maintain current certifications and licensure
  • Adhere to legal and organizational policies
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, quality initiatives, and multidisciplinary teamwork
