Advanced Practice Provider II - ACLS

About the Role

Provides advanced clinical care in designated specialty or primary areas, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, and referrals. Acts as a resource and role model for clinical practice, training, and supervision of practitioners and students to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Supports leadership in planning and organizing advanced practice provider activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct histories, physical exams, assessments, and diagnostic tests.
• Make medical decisions, manage patient care, and coordinate with physicians and specialists.
• Educate patients and families, ensuring follow-up and compliance.
• Supervise and train APP students and contribute to staff education.
• Stay updated on advancements, participate in quality improvement, and promote best practices.
• Maintain compliance with licensure, certifications, and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes and service delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (Physician Assistant) or Master's in nursing (APRN), with relevant accredited certifications.
• Minimum of 3 years (APP) or 5 years (any field) clinical experience.
• Valid licensure and certification (e.g., Physician Assistant license, Nurse Practitioner certification, ACLS, BLS).
