ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER - HOSPITALIST CASUAL
About the role
Aultman Hospital, part of Aultman Health System, seeks a casual Advanced Practice Provider to deliver inpatient hospital care. This position collaborates with hospitalist physicians, provides individualized care, and coordinates with various healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with hospitalist physicians to admit, discharge, and care for patients during their stay.
- Provides consultation services as requested.
- Demonstrates ability to provide goal-directed nursing care to patients.
- Partners with community primary care providers, various medical/surgical specialties, nurses, and other healthcare ancillary team members to coordinate and administer care.
Qualifications
- Licensed to practice as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Ohio.
- One year of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to stimulate new ideas and create a team environment.
