Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing Gastroenterology team. Schedule
Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.; no call.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive GI care alongside a multidisciplinary team of physicians and support staff.
- Conduct initial assessments, follow-ups, and manage outpatient follow‑up visits.
- Assist with procedures and ensure continuity of care.
- Collaborate closely with attending gastroenterologists to optimize patient outcomes.
- Participate in care coordination, documentation, and patient education.
Qualifications
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA‑C) licensed in Illinois.
- Strongly preferred: 1+ year of experience in Gastroenterology outpatient medicine.
- Strong clinical decision‑making and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive medical team.
- EMR proficiency (experience with Epic is a plus).

Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $125,000–$140,000 on an annualized basis.
